Ambassador of Belarus Dmitry Mironchik presents Credentials to the King of Sweden

On June 14, 2018 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Sweden, Dmitry Mironchik, presented his Letters of Credence to the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador had a traditional audience with the Head of the Swedish State. The sides noted that both Belarus and Sweden are confronted with a number of challenges, equally important to them and ranging from environmental protection and rational use of natural resources to strengthening security and neighborly relations in the region.

At the meeting with the management of the regional department and the State protocol service of the Foreign Ministry of Sweden, preceding the royal audience, the parties stated mutual interest in further development of Belarusian-Swedish relations, discussed promising areas of cooperation and concrete steps aimed at rapid restoration of positive dynamics across the whole spectrum of topics on the bilateral agenda.
