The event on the occasion of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia

On April 16, 2026, to mark the Unity Day of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia and the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Community of Belarus and Russia (April 2, 1996), a joint meeting of the leadership and representatives of the Embassies of Belarus and Russia in Sweden was held.

During the event the mutual commitment of the two countries, linked by historical, spiritual, and cultural commonalities, to further deepening integration in the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership was emphasized.
