Greetings to people of Sweden

06.06.2025
On behalf of Belarusian people and himself, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the people of Sweden on their National Day.

“Today, in the time of global transformations, the main priorities remain unchanged – environmental conservation, the quality of life and national security,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state emphasized that for many years, the Swedes, like the Belarusians, have been carefully preserving their natural and cultural heritage, building a stable, rule-of-law and democratic state. “Bilateral cooperation has been pretty good until recently,” the Belarusian leader noted.

The president expressed hope that Sweden's experience of being a neutral country will help the nation's leadership return to an equal and respectful dialogue, which Belarus is always ready to resume.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished all residents of Sweden peace, happiness and harmony.
