Ambassador Mironchik met with Head of the Department for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Andrés Jato

 On September 12, 2018 Ambassador of Belarus to Sweden Dmitry Mironchik met with Head of the Department for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Andrés Jato.

Ambassador Mironchik handed over to Mr Jato a video prepared by the Belarusian Defense Ministry “Utilization of components of liquid rocket fuel in the Republic of Belarus” and once again thanked the Swedish Side for financial and technical assistance in the project implementation.

The Head of the Department reassured that the Swedish Foreign Ministry is ready to further seek to allocate resources to support Belarusian projects of this kind.

The Parties exchanged views on security situation in the European region, stated that the dynamics of negotiation process on disarmament issues is unsatisfactory. The representative for the Swedish Foregn Ministry was informed about Belarus participation in resolution of the crisis in Ukraine as well as efforts to prevent the emergence of new dividing lines in Europe.
