Ambassador Dmitry Mironchik visited headquarters of Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB

On March 4, 2019 Ambassador of Belarus to Sweden Mr. Dmitry Mironchik together with Ambassador of Sweden to Belarus Ms. Christina Johannesson visited headquarters of Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB in Finspong.

The visit was organized with the assistance of Business Sweden in order to get acquainted with the main actors of trade and economic cooperation between two countries and potential assessment of possible joint projects.
Siemens is one of the major suppliers of gas turbines for the needs of the energy sector and industrial enterprises in Belarus. Belaruskali, Grodno Azot, Lukomlskaya and Berezovskaya GRES, other leading Belarusian companies are its clients. In 2018 gas turbines were the largest export position from Sweden to Belarus (14,7 million US dollars).

During the visit the head of the Belarusian Embassy met with the company's CEO Hans Holström and other representatives of the company's management, visited the production site of Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB and discussed plans for Siemens to expand cooperation with our country in terms of service and participation in further modernization of power system of Belarus.
